The KIC Crusader Series Grade 2 Deadbolt is designed for commercial applications requiring reliable security, convenient keyless access, and straightforward installation. Featuring a commercial-grade 1″ deadbolt throw and a 20-minute UL fire rating, it provides dependable protection for a wide range of commercial doors. The non-handed design fits standard 161 door preparation without additional drilling and accommodates 2-3/8″ or 2-3/4″ backsets and door thicknesses from 1-3/8″ to 1-3/4″.

With direct Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, the deadbolt provides remote access management without the need for additional hubs, gateways, or complex wiring. Users can access the door using mobile credentials, PIN codes, cards, fobs, or mechanical key backup, while access software enables remote management of users, schedules, and access activity. The lock can store up to 4,000 access events when offline, with up to 365 days of access history available through cloud access software.

Designed for reliable everyday operation, the KIC Crusader Series Grade 2 Deadbolt uses four AA alkaline batteries and provides up to 2+ years of battery life depending on usage conditions. Low-battery alerts, configurable access schedules, and the ability to retain programming during power or network outages provide additional convenience and reliability for commercial environments. Custom keying options are also available, including conventional, keyed alike, SFIC, restricted, and high-security keyways.
